may 28, 1830 - Indian Removal Act
Description:
This was a law that was passed by Andrew Jackson in 1830. The Act gave them power to force the Native Americans in the south to move west of the Mississippi river. Some states wanted the land that the Natives were living on. Of course, some Natives did not like this and fought against it, this lead to a couple minor wars between the Indian Tribes and the U.S government.
