Description:

In Serôs, the city-state of Nantarum is besieged by merfolk led by Ristan when the city's mythal emits a strange humming and magical energy discharges in the surrounding sea. The people of Nantarum die mysteriously and the merfolk take the city. They discover one survivor, the sea elf Dukar leader Yupal Narlis, driven mad. Thirty contrite Dukar and nobles are found transformed into coral statues along the avenue to the Council Academy of the Dukars. The Second Dukars' War is ended.
