Description:

The Kodak Brownie was like a miniature version of the camera obscura, but allowed more concentrated light through the viewfinder. Eastman also eventually came up with the idea to use plastic roll films to create the images. Even though these films needed to be professionally developed, it still enabled more portability and faster exposure time compared to older versions of the camera- which ultimately made photography more accessible and convenient.
