Description:

The nation of Apothec south east of Netheril is wiped out when their drinking water becomes infected with a deadly disease. The Apothec people, masters of non-magical healing, could do nothing to stop the spread of this plague. Moander is thought to be directly responsible for their deaths. Netherese healers who don't use magic begin calling themselves apothecaries to honor the memory of their erstwhile neighbors.
