Abdullah ibn Omar ibn al-Khattab (Arabic: عبدالله بن عمر بن الخطاب‎) (c.610–693 CE) was companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and son of the second Caliph Omar. He was a prominent authority in hadith and law. He didn't give allegiance to Ali and remained neutral in the first Islamic Civil war (656–661).
