He was killed during the Siege of Koulusi during the Southern Civil War. Ïmaul was visiting his friend, who was Lord of Koulusi, for the Lord's birthday. However, during his 3 day stay in the city, the Grotian Army came upon the city and sieged the capital of Xeeri, Koulusi. During the siege, Ïmaul was killed with the Lord's family. Protector Arën Yapkya hired Merrician mercenaries to assassinate the Emperor of Grotian. However, this failed as the mercenaries were discovered, leading to more tension between the states. He died at the age of 62.
