dec 25, 2002 - Looking for a Job
Description:
Dr. Aafia returned to the U.S. on December 25, 2002, in order to look for a job.
After Dr. Aafia was kidnapped the US government alleged that she helped Uzair Paracha secure a post office box in Majid Khan's name. Newsweek International published that the FBI became interested in Aafia Siddiqui because "she rented a post-office box to help a former resident of Baltimore named Majid Khan (alleged al-Qaeda suspect) to help establish his US identity" The Newsweek article repeated the claim Siddiqui was arrested in Pakistan, contrary to the repeated assertions of the interior minister.
