1. In March Women went on a march asking for "Peace and Bread" and then they were joined by other workers and soon the factories were closed and when the soldiers were asked to shut that down instead they decided to join all those who were protesting
2. Different types of groups such as the Soviets and the Bolsheviks started appearing and they both wanted different things
3. When the Bolsheviks got a slight majority in the Petrograd and Moscow soviets they tried to overthrow the provisional government but the elections to the assembly by universal suffrage where the Bolsheviks were defeated
