A great plague known as the Putrescent Anathema devastated the Goldenfields and Waterdeep, primarily to the poor as the supply of grain plummeted.In 1395 DR, the disease began to spread from Stump Bog. It hit the temple-farm of Goldenfields very hard, and thousands died due to the lack of grain to fed themselves.
