Description:

Military occupation of the Suez Canal of France , Uk and Israel against Egypt.
USA, USSR and Egypt went against the occupation and UK and pressured them politically.
The UK had to retreat from the military operation and historians said that this signified the end of Britain as one of the major powers of the world.
After the crisis Britain applied to become member of the EEC
