Despite all of their conflicts leading up to their wedding, Jason and Crystal get married on his birthday. The marriage ceremony is in the morning, held privately in the castle gardens, followed by a public price coronation ceremony that is watched by hundreds of Taerans. This is succeeded by an afterparty that runs from sunset until late at night, with drinking, dancing, and various antics.
