Description:

On 11 December 1993 President of the Russian Federation Boris Yeltsin signed Ukase No. 2126 "On the State flag of the Russian Federation", which approved the Regulations on the State flag of the Russian Federation. In article 1 of the Regulations on the State flag of the Russian Federation, it was described as "a rectangular panel of three equal horizontal stripes: the upper one is white, the middle one is blue and the lower one is red. The ratio of the width of the flag to its length is 2:3".

11 декабря 1993 года Президент Российской Федерации Б.Н. Ельцин подписал Указ № 2126 «О Государственном флаге Российской Федерации», которым было утверждено Положение о Государственном флаге Российской Федерации. В статье 1 Положения о Государственном флаге Российской Федерации он был описан как «прямоугольное полотнище из трёх равновеликих горизонтальных полос: верхней - белого, средней- синего и нижней - красного цвета. Отношение ширины флага к его длине - 2:3».
