Description:
-Dr. George A. A. Simons, a Methodist clergyman, who bad been for many years in charge of a church in St. Petersburg, testified in 1919 in a "Hearing before a Senate Committee of the Committee on the Judiciary, United States Senate, Sixty-fifth Congress, pursuant to S. Res. 4:39 and 469," as follows: - "that hundreds of Jews from the lower East Side of :\" ('W Y'.ork were among the agitators, and that in HHS, in the northern con~munity of St. Petersburg, the Soviet Regime was made up of 16 real Russians and 371 Jews, and 265 of that number came from the lower East Side of New York."
(My listeners should emphasize that this statement of Dr. G. A. Simons is the more convincing, since it comes from a clergyman of the Methodist American Church, which is at present pro-Communist and pro-J cw.)

-Mr R. B. Dennis, an American teacher who had worked in Russia between November 1917 to September 1918, had the following exchange with Senator Nelson & Senator Wolcott:
Senator Nelson: "Were the men who had lived for years in this country, and had gone back there, occupying prominent positions in this Bolshevik government? "
Mr R. B. Dennis: "Yes, sir."
Senator Wolcott: "In the main, of what nationality were they?"
Mr R. B. Dennis: "Hebrew."
Senator Wolcott: "German Hebrews?"
Mr R. B. Dennis: "Russian Hebrews. The men that I met there had lived in America, according to their stories, anywhere from 3 to 12 years.
-William Welsh, an American banker who had worked in Russia between July 1916 - Sept 1918 stated to the committee:
"It might be well to explain a little the general fact that most of the Bolshevik leaders are Jews, in order to avoid misunderstanding. In Russia it is well known that three-fourths of the Bolshevik leaders are Jewish."
