BERLIN, Jan. 15 (AP) — General Kurt von Schleicher, declaring he spoke not as Chancellor of the Reich but as the nation's Minister of Defense, extolled the virtues of the German Army and repeated Germany's insistence upon arms equality in a speech today before the Kyffhauser veterans' society at a demonstration commemorating the founding of the German Empire sixty-two years ago.
