While teaching at Boston University, Alexander Graham Bell started to experiment with communication. He thought that if he could create a current of electricity that he should be able to transmit speech telegraphically. On March 7th, he got a patent and on March 10th the first sentence was heard. The sentence was heard in his lab and the words were; "Mr. Watson, come here; I want you".Added to timeline:
