dec 17, 1903 - Wright Brothers Fly a Plane
Description:
Orville and Wilbur Wright experimented with many engines that were powerful enough to fly. First, they built a glider. Then, they built a combustion engine. Their first successful flight was in North Carolina, and it lasted about 12 seconds and they were 120 feet in the air. This changed the way that a lot of people saw technology, and the way they were able to use it productively and for fun.
