nov 11, 1620 - Pilgrims land

Description:

The Mayflowers arrived at Cape Cod instead of the intended destination; near the hudson river in New York, due to bad weather. Once they landed the men on board the ship created the Mayflower Compact which listed all the rules for this new community. After a few months spent exploring, trying to find the best land possible, the Mayflower arrived in Plymouth on December 16 1620. Many of the Pilgrims died either because of disease while they were still building homes or simply couldn't last the winter.
