Description:

Through Draco's installation of one of the Vanishing Cabinets at Hogwarts and the other at Borgin and Burkes, Death Eaters were able to enter the protected school. A battle ensued between students/professors and the Death Eaters. As it reached its apex on the Astronomy Tower, Death Eater Gibbon cast the Dark Mark over the sky so that Dumbledore would investigate and be unprotected, thereby allowing for Draco Malfoy to complete Voldemort's request to kill the Headmaster, Draco, however, was unable to follow through resulting in Professor Snape killing Dumbledore.
