Description:
In 1299, The Ottoman Empire was founded by Osman I, a leader of the turkish tribes in Anatolia. At the height of the Empire, it included Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Macedonia, Romania, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, some of Arabia and Hungary. The Empire thrived for over 6 centuries, and was already in decline when it was defeated for the last time in war. The decline was caused by poor leadership, competition for trade and a loss of land.
