The video of Johnny Depp interacting with Disneyland visitors from behind a 'mirror' was released.
The Chronology is unsure when the filming was done.
FROM NME: Johnny Depp surprised tourists at Disneyland yesterday (May 11) when he made a guest appearance as the Mad Hatter from the forthcoming Alice Through The Looking Glass movie.
A large mirror was placed in the US theme park which appeared like it was digitally displaying a poster from the film, but it was actually a live video stream of Depp, who initially stayed still before catching onlookers by surprise.
Video footage shows him winking and waving, saying “Hello”, “Pssst” or “Why you looking at me like that?” to unknowing theme park visitors. Watch footage of his performance below.
The Mad Hatter is a major character in Through The Looking Glass, Disney’s sequel to 2010’s Alice In Wonderland. In the new film, Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returns to Underland and has to travel back in time to save Depp’s Mad Hatter.
