When you are an international movie star like Johnny Depp, certain opportunities just kinda present themselves. Like the opportunity to attend a Tuesday-night Willie Nelson concert in Boston, where you are currently filming a mob movie. The opportunity to perform onstage with Willie Nelson himself throughout the entirety of said Tuesday-night concert. And the opportunity to jam out on a guitar solo during the aforementioned Tuesday-night concert. Even if confused audience members, who were only introduced to the guest guitarist onstage as “Johnny,” don’t quite get why some stranger in a black T-shirt and tattoos is getting such V.I.P treatment. The world is Johnny Depp’s stage—inclusive of actual stages booked by Willie Nelson and his band—we’re just all here to watch.

The impromptu Johnny Depp jam sesh occurred last week at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion, in Boston, where Depp is currently filming Black Mass. According to a Boston Globe reporter in the audience, Depp played guitar for the entire concert set.
