Description:
The battles of Lexington and Concord were the first battles in the American Revolutionary War. British troops marched from Boston to Concord in order to seize an arms case. The famous ride of Paul Revere and other rides occurred as they rallied the colonial troops to fight against the British. The British retreated under violent fire on the Lexington green. This was the start to war that would end in the colonists freedom from the British.
