The Treaty of Versailles was a peace treaty created by president Woodrow Wilson. The treaty officially ended WWI after the Allies and Germany both signed it. The Treaty of Versailles contained 15 parts and 440 articles that essentially punished Germany for “starting the war”. It created the League of Nations which denied Germany the right to join.
