The very color of the Mushroom island was at stake in this epic battle of Mycelium vs. Grass. Many players devoted much time to supplying each other with grass, shovels, and mycelium to take out the opposing turf and reclaiming it for their own color. Some players went so far as to expand the island with leftovers from the war, ultimately grass won the battle to allow trees and other plants to grow. From here on Mooshrooms become less common, since they only grown on mycelium.
