The photograph of Johnny Depp with Pistol on a cushion in front of him, probably taken on The Island, first surfaced at this time.If anyone has a record of it earlier please let The JDC know - we welcome updates, better knowledge and corrections.
It is speculated that this could have been one of the 'hacked' photos (the 'Frappening' of 21 September 2014 which involved Amber Heard) as on close inspection - although Johnny looks as handsome as ever - he appears to have a plaster where an IV would usually be placed and his hand may be injured and have stitches.
The photo could well date from 2013 as the look Johnny Depp is sporting is closest to how he looked then. However, away from Black Mass in 2014 he could easily have looked the same in August 2014 prior to dying his hair blonde for Mortdecai.
