Around 9:00 P.M, the Berlin Fire Department got an announcement that the Reichstag was on fire, but the fire was put out only by 11:30 P.M and 20 bundles of flammable material unburned lying around the site. When Hitler saw the fire, he declared that it was a signal of a communist revolt, which would allow Hitler to take over the government control after this.
