Johnny Depp returned to LA on the morning of Saturday 8 June. We know from emails with Bruce Within he was feeling somewhat out of sorts but seems quite determined to pull himself and Bruce through the low mood. They also had birthdays to celebrate.

There was a barbecue, a party and a jam session that included Joe Perry and possibly others. Amber Heard obviously attended at some point although is not clear if Paul Bettany was a guest.

However, something happened with Amber Heard that upset Paul Bettany and therefore Johnny Depp and they took this frustration out in Monty Python inspired British humour texts. Amber Heard claims to have written a long email to Johnny Depp but never sent it.

THE JDC rather hopes Johnny Depp and his (old men) friends played guitars and had a thoroughly wonderful 50th Birthday Party doing whatever made him happy…. and probably because he did, it made Amber Heard unhappy.

Unfortunately there are no known photographs of Johnny Depp from his birthday or the following week.

SPECULATION:
Johnny Depp returned to New Mexico immediately after the weekend to resume filming. It had also been decided to do the initial Press Junket for The Lone Ranger close by in Santa Fe. There are stories of Amber Heard having been present on the Transcendence set and living with Johnny whilst on location but once the Disney executives began arriving for The Lone Ranger she was asked to stay in LA. So it is quite possible that request was this weekend - causing possible upset and argument.
