jul 10, 1940 - Battle of Britain/The Blitz
Description:
The last Ally country standing in Germany's way was Britain. Now controlling France, Germany was able to bomb British airfields, ports, and military bases. While the British were waiting for foreign support, the British Royal Air Force was able to stop the Luftwaffe (German Air Force). With Germany getting frustrated,, they decide to start bombing cities like London. Aware of what is happening, London starts to black out its cities during the night so the Germans wouldn't know where to drop bombs. Hitler eventually gives up on this war.
