jan 1, 1962 - Birth of Learning Objectives
Description:
Robert Mager publishes “Preparing Objectives for Programmed Instruction.” This text started a new approach to instructional design focused on developing learning outcomes for instruction. His related concept, Criterion Referenced Instruction (CRI), then applied these developed outcomes to drive the activities of instruction. These two concepts are still very impactful in instructional design today.
