maire leaves to see kano, he's angry, she has the whole 'the only person i wouldn't kill' thing
she leaves to see jos (still very much in the wrong here), he won't talk to her
he's pissed af
but then alys gets up, just in the middle of the day, and jos tries to stop her, but maire's all 'no, let her go, we need to see where she goes or this will never end
so they follow her
the streets are pretty much deserted by now
she goes to the gates where the fog seems to thicken, and just as she sticks her hand in, her mind is cleared and she remembers everything and she's all 'jos, my sweet boy, ilysm'
it's all very heartfelt
but then she turns to maire and is all 'it was her'
maire asks if she means ll
alys says no, she means isa, she's the one behind everything'
maire is shocked, maybe the audience is not, i feel like once u rape an underage boy, everything is possible
once she's done revealing everything, shadow wolves appear and drag her into the fog, and they see a bloodied hand stick out
they're attacked, jos shows off some of the weaker skills he's learned, but still
do i know how they escape?
no i do not
ok we switch to a james pov (maybe, maybe it's just a bunch of normal watch and maire's the one who leads them to high ward) who's patrolling with some of his watch, and they come rescue them
some of them die
they're kinda close to high ward, so james takes them there to madam vesta or smth where kano is
eileen takes all of them underground to low ward where they'll be safe, and it's revealed that ll is down here
