aug 23, 1939 - The Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact was Signed

Description:

On August 23rd, 1939, Germany and the Soviet Union signed a non-aggression pact that stated that the two countries wouldn't take any military action against the other for the next 10 years. However, two years later, Hitler arranged Operation Barbarossa, which was an invasion of the Soviet Union. Despite the Soviet Union accruing serious casualties, Operation Barbarossa was a fail, and Germany didn't beat the Soviet Union.
