jul 1, 1938 - The Munich Agreement

Description:

The Munich Agreement was an agreement between Britain, France and Germany that was called to avoid the outbreak of a war. Germany was growing increasingly aggressive under Hitler, and, in order to avoid a war, Britain and France gave Hitler Czechoslovakia to try and appease him, so he'd stop taking over other countries. It didn't work, because a year later, Germany invaded Poland and started WWII.
