apr 30, 1789 - Presidency of George Washington

Description:

If we go back prior to the year 1800, I believe that one of the most significant turning points was when George Washington became the first president of the United States. Washington was a good leader and had helped the country in many ways. While he served his time, the Bill of Rights was passed. Five new states had also entered the union North Carolina, Rhode Island, Vermont, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Overall, Washington had helped build The United States, and was a part of a major turning point in US history.
