oct 19, 1781 - Battle of Yorktown

Description:

The symbolic end to the American Revolution. Despite some British troops remained in the Americas for a few years after this battle, the general was surrounded by French and American troops and was forced to surrender. This resulted in the following negotiation attempts between the two sides and an eventual end to the war.
