mar 31, 1774 - Coercive Acts (Intolerable Acts)
Description:
This was the British Response to the Boston Tea Party. It was a collection of different acts, collectively known as the Coercive/Intolerable acts, despite their being a single act involved called the coercive act. It forbid the entrance of ships for entering the Boston Harbor (except for food imports) and it was to stay that way until the tea was paid for, it also put stricter British rule over Massachusetts government.
