jan 15, 1764 - Sugar Act of 1764
Description:
The sugar act is a great example of contextualizing two different wars. The Seven Years War resulted in huge British debt, this required them to put in place this sugar act (and several others a few years later, like the currency act of 1763) The Sugar Act, Currency Act, and Proclamation of 1763 resulted in great discomfort among the colonists.
