Description:

The Argo travels to the island of Aeaea, to be purified from the crimes by Medea's aunt Circe. After that, they passed by the Sirens with the help of Orpheus, then were run aground at the Syrtes, an interminable sandbank off Libya. After returning to the sea, they came to the shores of Crete where they were nearly sank by Talos until Medea killed the mechanical giant. After this they returned to Iolcos to great fanfare and were received by Pelias. Medea, tricking the king into thinking she could return his youth and vigor, murdered him in a bath. Jason and Medea were forced to flee to Corinth.
