jan 1, 1264 BC - The First Athenian Sacrifice

Description:

Daedalus finishes constructing the labyrinth. Minos has all the workers killed, and informs Daedalus that his knowledge is too powerful to be allowed to escape. Daedalus will be kept in the palace, but allowed to live otherwise normally. The Minotaur is placed in the labyrinth. As a price for defeat, Athens agrees to Minos' terms of surrender - 7 boys and 7 girls to be sacrificed to the Minotaur.
