jan 27, 1961 - The first Disney film to use the photocopying technique of xerography which allowed for a cheaper production process that skipped hand-inking.
This allowed for 101 Dalmatians' "rough" art style as well as many Disney animations during the time period to have a more raw hand-drawn look.
Walt Disney produced the film. Ub Iwerks worked with printing corporation Xerox to develop xerography for film. He was also one of the men who created Mickey Mouse. (Disney Wiki, n.d.)
