Another pioneer of Telepresence Art is Paul Sermon. His first project of the series “Telematic” happened in 1992, with “Telematic Dreaming”.Two beds were places at two different locations: on one location the artist himself was laying in the bed, looking at the live video of the bed in the other location he could perform and re-act to the audience. At both location, Paul Sermon projected the other bed’s image and by that creating a shared virtual bed between him and the audience.
