Aristotle was a neoplatonist and a student in Plato's academy, through his years there he started contradicting the beliefs of Socrates and Plato due to his father's scientific influence. Aristotle focussed on the philosophy of the natural world where Socrates and Plato focused on morality and ideas, he wanted to perceive the world and it's mysteries through physical senses and the scientific method of understanding knowledge.
