Description:

Power in the reactor drops below stable levels. To counteract this control rods are raised out of the core ,against guidelines, in attempt to increase power output. Unit shift chief Akimov wants to abort test but is overruled by Deputy Chief engineer Dyatlov to continue. Power rises slightly as xenon poisoning occurs in the core.
