feb 1, 2000 - crime bill

Description:

On September 13 1994 the crime bill was passed by president Clinton. This bill did 4 things 3 still in effect today. It first put more police on the streets. Secondly it built more federal prisons. Third it added a new application to the death penalty which was letal ejection. Fourth which is no longer in effect today it banned 19 assault weapons and now all 19 are legalized again.
