jan 1, 1941 - Human Trials
Description:
This is when Florey was ready to test penicillin on humans. The first person to ever be introduced to the drug was an English woman whose cancer was beyond treatment and had agreed to text penicillin's toxicity. She displayed a bad reaction. Later Abraham proved that her reaction was because of impurities in the dose she was given.
