Herby Hoover vs FDR. FDR wins in a landslide because of Hoover's failure during the GD. His "New Deal" was very popular. Was one of the biggest landslides in history. Supported by Black Americans, immigrants, Jews, and other minorities who had felt behind by Hoover. Interesting because FDR was a Dem. Now we start to see the modern Dem party emerging. Dems win more seats in congress too. Roosevelt reelected 4 times. President from 1932-1945 when he died and was replaced by his VP Harry Truman.
