Description:
Gave voting rights to black men. Said all American born people were citizens (except Native people). Gave more power to the Freedmen's Bureau. Johnson vetoes it, but Congress overrides the veto. Passes easily in Congress because there aren't very many democrats left. Reps had huge majority.Added to timeline:
