As Bacon’s Rebellion spurred, he united a small group of volunteers to stand up against the government that protected the large planters in the Chesapeake area. The rebellion was not as effective to support Bacon’s ideals, but it did affect how the colonists would rebel against royal control in the future. It would lead to the demonstration of how the difference between the social classes of the poor landowners and the wealthy landowners was affecting political views.
