Description:

As the depression got worse and more people became jobless, the conservatives thought that a war between capital and labor would occur. they were mostly alarmed by a mass march to Washington in 1894 by the unemployed that was led by a populist named Jacob a Coxey he wanted you to tell him it's so funny and was nicknamed coxey's Army. They marched demanding that the government spent $500 on Public Works to create jobs but they ended up becoming arrested for trespassing and were sent home
