jun 15, 1775 - Battle of
Bunker Hill
Description:
It was actually Breed’s Hill that was next to Bunker Hill. The colonists were attacked, and the British ended up taking the hill, but they still suffered many casualties. What was a lost for the colonists in the eyes of the British, was a win in the eyes of the colonists. They felt as if even though the hill was lost, the amount of damage they inflicted on the British army was great. It proved to them, that they were able to fight back even when others might think they can’t do it.
