may 1, 1763 - Pontiac's Rebellion

Description:

Chief Pontiac led an attack against the colonial settlements in the western frontier, destroying forts and settlements from New York to Virginia. This ignited discord between the royal government the they colonies, but it still was a spark of nationalism being seen from the colonies. Basically, making a statement that they will not be pushed around anymore. That their voices will be heard, and they will not be ignored.
